With the support of the social environment, Eurotronik Kranj d. o. o. is actively involved in the Slovenian environment. For this purpose our company donated a SmartCare nurse call system – the most advanced form of the nurse call system in the world, worth 8.485,00 €.
The Department of Nursing at the General Hospital Slovenj Gradec was given the health care system Smart Care, which combines the advanced functionality of the nurse call system with electronic recording and management of nursing care in the patient’s room and in this way presents a tool for a significant work optimisation of nurses and unburdens them from their administrative work.

Anja Jehart, B.Sc., the head nurse of the Nursing Department: “The NurseCare call system is the most modern nurse call system we’ve had until now. In front of each patient’s room we have touch-screen terminals are installed, in which we access with a personal code when patient calls us. When we complete a service with a patient, we then log out from the room terminal. We have a unit in our nurse room, which helps us to see which room and bed is calling us. With the upgrade of the system we will also get the opportunity to enter the nursing activities, which will greatly help us at planning and implementation of nursing care for every individual. The long-term plan is that we will have all the activities in electronic form with this system, which will facilitate the manual entry of data on the paper. The system will also allow weekly / monthly review of tasks and activities. The advantage of this system will be that we will have more time to perform quality nursing care and also more time for dedication to our patients. “
